According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New York was 8.7% (sa) in July, 2012. Among all New York counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Bronx (13.3%), Oswego (11.2%), and Fulton (11.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Saratoga (7%), Tompkins (7.2%), and Columbia (7.2%).
