According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New York was 8.1% (sa) in March, 2013. Among all New York counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hamilton (13.4%), Bronx (11.8%), and Lewis (11.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Tompkins (5.3%), Nassau (6.3%), and Saratoga (6.5%).
