According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New York was 7.5% (sa) in October, 2013. Among all New York counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Bronx (11.7%), Kings (9.4%), and Richmond (9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Tompkins (4.8%), Saratoga (5.4%), and Columbia (5.5%).
