According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New York was 5.8% (sa) in December, 2014. Among all New York counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hamilton (9%), Bronx (8.2%), and Lewis (8.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Tompkins (3.8%), Saratoga (4.2%), and Nassau (4.2%).
