According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New York was 4.8% (sa) in February, 2016. Among all New York counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hamilton (8.9%), Lewis (8.4%), and Schuyler (8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Nassau (4.3%), Tompkins (4.4%), and Putnam (4.4%).
