According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New York was 4.8% (sa) in May, 2016. Among all New York counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Bronx (6.4%), Lewis (6%), and St. Lawrence (6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Columbia (3.3%), Saratoga (3.4%), and Putnam (3.6%).
