According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New York was 4.5% (sa) in December, 2017. Among all New York counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hamilton (11.2%), Schuyler (7.1%), and Jefferson (7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Queens (3.5%), New York (3.6%), and Columbia (3.6%).
