According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New York was 4.6% (sa) in May, 2017. Among all New York counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hamilton (6.8%), Allegany (6.1%), and Lewis (6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Columbia (3.5%), Saratoga (3.7%), and Yates (3.8%).
