According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New York was 4.4% (sa) in February, 2018. Among all New York counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hamilton (11.5%), Lewis (8.5%), and Jefferson (8.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Queens (4%), New York (4%), and Tompkins (4.4%).
