According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New York was 3.7% (sa) in May, 2019. Among all New York counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Bronx (5%), St. Lawrence (4.6%), and Allegany (4.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Columbia (2.7%), Saratoga (2.8%), and Nassau (2.9%).
