According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New York was 3.9% (sa) in October, 2019. Among all New York counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Bronx (5%), Jefferson (4.7%), and St. Lawrence (4.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Columbia (2.8%), Saratoga (3.1%), and Yates (3.3%).
