According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New York was 15.6% (sa) in April, 2020. Among all New York counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Niagara (24.4%), Cattaraugus (21%), and Erie (21%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): New York (10.3%), Tompkins (11.4%), and Columbia (12.4%).
