According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New York was 16.7% (sa) in May, 2020. Among all New York counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Bronx (26.2%), Queens (23.2%), and Kings (21.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Columbia (9.2%), Chenango (9.2%), and Tompkins (9.3%).
