According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Ohio was 5.8% (sa) in August, 2005. Among all Ohio counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Monroe (11.3%), Meigs (9.7%), and Morgan (9.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Medina (3.8%), Geauga (3.8%), and Mercer (3.9%).
