According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Ohio was 5.7% (sa) in October, 2005. Among all Ohio counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Monroe (10.2%), Pike (9%), and Meigs (8.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Geauga (3.5%), Mercer (3.7%), and Medina (3.7%).
