According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Ohio was 5.3% (sa) in May, 2006. Among all Ohio counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Monroe (10.2%), Pike (8.1%), and Morgan (7.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Mercer (3.4%), Holmes (3.5%), and Geauga (3.5%).
