According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Ohio was 5.7% (sa) in October, 2007. Among all Ohio counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Meigs (8.4%), Pike (8.3%), and Morgan (7.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Mercer (3.6%), Union (4%), and Holmes (4%).
