According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Ohio was 7.7% (sa) in November, 2008. Among all Ohio counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Van Wert (11.5%), Huron (11.1%), and Pike (11%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Geauga (4.7%), Lake (5%), and Delaware (5%).
