According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Ohio was 8.6% (sa) in January, 2009. Among all Ohio counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Huron (18.5%), Ottawa (16.7%), and Pike (16.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Delaware (5.9%), Geauga (6.1%), and Lake (6.8%).
