According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Ohio was 10.2% (sa) in June, 2009. Among all Ohio counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Williams (17%), Defiance (16.9%), and Crawford (16.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Geauga (6.2%), Medina (7.3%), and Lake (7.4%).
