According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Ohio was 10.9% (sa) in November, 2009. Among all Ohio counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Clinton (17.9%), Highland (17.5%), and Noble (16%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Geauga (6.5%), Medina (6.9%), and Lake (7.4%).
