According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Ohio was 10.6% (sa) in October, 2009. Among all Ohio counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Clinton (17.1%), Highland (16.8%), and Pike (15.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Geauga (5.6%), Medina (6.2%), and Lake (6.6%).
