According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Ohio was 10.8% (sa) in October, 2009. Among all Ohio counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Clinton (17.6%), Highland (17.3%), and Pike (15.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Geauga (6.1%), Medina (6.7%), and Lake (7.1%).
