According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Oklahoma was 6.9% (sa) in September, 2009. Among all Oklahoma counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Latimer (12.4%), McCurtain (11.3%), and Hughes (10.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Beaver (3.5%), Cimarron (3.6%), and Woods (4.1%).
