According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Oregon was 11% (sa) in July, 2009. Among all Oregon counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Crook (16.3%), Douglas (14.6%), and Josephine (13.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Wasco (5.8%), Gilliam (6.6%), and Hood River (7.1%).
