According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Oregon was 11.2% (sa) in June, 2009. Among all Oregon counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Crook (19.7%), Douglas (15.1%), and Harney (14.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Gilliam (6.9%), Sherman (7.5%), and Benton (7.8%).
