According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Tennessee was 7.7% (sa) in November, 2008. Among all Tennessee counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Perry (20.5%), Lauderdale (15.1%), and Scott (15%).
