According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Tennessee was 10.1% (sa) in April, 2009. Among all Tennessee counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Perry (24%), Monroe (17.9%), and Lauderdale (17.7%).
