According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Tennessee was 10.5% (sa) in December, 2009. Among all Tennessee counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Perry (19.1%), Marshall (18.4%), and Henderson (18.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Lincoln (7%), Williamson (8%), and Knox (8.1%).
