According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Tennessee was 9.5% (sa) in July, 2010. Among all Tennessee counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Scott (17.4%), Hancock (16.1%), and Haywood (15%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Williamson (6.7%), Lincoln (7%), and Knox (7.4%).
