According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Texas was 8.3% (sa) in March, 2010. Among all Texas counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Presidio (19.7%), Starr (18.9%), and Sabine (17.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): McMullen (3.9%), Hemphill (4.1%), and Kent (4.3%).
