According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Texas was 6.5% (sa) in November, 2012. Among all Texas counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Willacy (14.5%), Starr (13.3%), and Sabine (13%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): McMullen (2.1%), Hemphill (2.7%), and Hartley (2.8%).
