According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Texas was 4.4% (sa) in July, 2015. Among all Texas counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Willacy (14.3%), Starr (14.1%), and Zavala (12.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): McMullen (2.1%), Hartley (2.3%), and Dallam (2.4%).
