According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Texas was 4.4% (sa) in May, 2017. Among all Texas counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Loving (16%), Starr (10.8%), and Dimmit (10.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Dallam (2.2%), Armstrong (2.4%), and Parmer (2.5%).
