According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Utah was 2.9% (sa) in June, 2006. Among all Utah counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): San Juan (6.3%), Sanpete (4%), and Carbon (3.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Rich (1.8%), Cache (2.6%), and Uintah (2.7%).
