According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Utah was 3.4% (sa) in September, 2008. Among all Utah counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Washington (4.6%), Juab (4.5%), and San Juan (4.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Piute (1.5%), Uintah (1.7%), and Rich (1.8%).
