According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Utah was 7.1% (sa) in May, 2009. Among all Utah counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): San Juan (9.7%), Duchesne (9.1%), and Washington (9.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Daggett (4.4%), Cache (5.2%), and Rich (5.4%).
