According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Vermont was 4.9% (sa) in July, 2012. Among all Vermont counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Essex (6.9%), Orleans (6.7%), and Rutland (6.3%).
