According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Vermont was 3.2% (sa) in January, 2016. Among all Vermont counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Orleans (7%), Essex (6.4%), and Lamoille (5.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Chittenden (2.7%), Windsor (2.9%), and Windham (3.3%).
