According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Vermont was 2.1% (sa) in August, 2023. Among all Vermont counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Essex (2.9%), Orleans (2.9%), and Bennington (2.5%).
