According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 7.4% (sa) in May, 2003. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Ferry (14.2%), Klickitat (12.2%), and Cowlitz (9.7%).
