According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 4.5% (sa) in March, 2007. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Ferry (11.3%), Pend Oreille (9.4%), and Stevens (9.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): King (3.4%), Whitman (3.7%), and Snohomish (3.8%).
