According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 4.7% (sa) in September, 2007. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Cowlitz (7%), Lewis (6.8%), and Grays Harbor (6.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): King (3.2%), San Juan (3.3%), and Snohomish (3.4%).
