According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 9% (sa) in December, 2010. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Ferry (15.7%), Wahkiakum (14.4%), and Pend Oreille (13.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Whitman (5.2%), Garfield (7.2%), and Asotin (7.2%).
