According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 9.1% (sa) in October, 2010. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Ferry (13.5%), Wahkiakum (13.4%), and Pacific (11.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Whitman (5.5%), Garfield (6%), and Walla Walla (6.1%).
