According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 8.3% (sa) in October, 2011. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Ferry (14.1%), Grays Harbor (11.8%), and Pacific (11.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Whitman (5.1%), Chelan (5.8%), and San Juan (5.9%).
