According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 6.9% (sa) in December, 2012. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Ferry (14.9%), Wahkiakum (12.8%), and Pend Oreille (12.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): King (4.8%), Whitman (5.3%), and Snohomish (5.6%).
