According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 8.9% (sa) in February, 2012. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Ferry (21.3%), Pend Oreille (15.7%), and Grays Harbor (15.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Whitman (7.6%), King (7.6%), and San Juan (8.9%).
