According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 9% (sa) in May, 2012. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Ferry (15.8%), Grays Harbor (13.8%), and Wahkiakum (13.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): San Juan (6.7%), Whitman (7%), and Garfield (7.2%).
