According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 5.4% (sa) in October, 2015. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Ferry (8.5%), Pacific (8.1%), and Pend Oreille (8.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Whitman (4.1%), Asotin (4.2%), and San Juan (4.3%).
