According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 5.4% (sa) in September, 2015. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Ferry (8.8%), Pend Oreille (8.5%), and Wahkiakum (8.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): San Juan (3.9%), Chelan (4.1%), and Whitman (4.2%).
